I just want to post this here, since I've cross-posted it on two LJs and a forum I frequent to answer a question people keep asking.

A lot of people seem to be confused over the Elder Wand, and how Draco became it's master:

Draco is the master of the Elder Wand because he took it from Dumbledore at the end of Half-Blood Prince. Draco didn't know he had the Elder Wand, but then when Harry fought him at Malfoy Manor and won/took Draco's wand, it turned Harry into the master of the Elder Wand. Voldemort was unaware that Draco had disarmed/taken the wand before Snape killed Dumbledore.

Half-Blood Prince, US paperback (because it's closer to me than the hardback) page 584 (Chapter 27: The Lightning-struck tower):

The door burst open and somebody erupted through it and shouted "Expelliarmus!"

[..]

Then, by the light of the Mark, he saw Dumbledore's wand flying in an arc over the edge of the ramparts and understood....

[...]

Standing in the ramparts, very white in the face, Dumbledore still showed no sign of panic or distress. He merely looked across at his disarmer and said, "Good evening, Draco."

Does that help?

Oh, and did anyone else notice the obsession with Merlin's private parts? Ron starts to say "Merlin's saggy left testicle" (on page 92 he says "merlin's saggy left --", Hermione says "Merlin's Pants" and then Ron says something about "Merlin's Y Fronts". Oi!
